What are you doing for Christmas this year? Hard to believe Christmas is so close! We spend all this time gearing up for it and then it’s over in the blink of an eye. My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree while listening to Christmas music. It always gets me in the Christmas spirit!

I hope that you and your families will get to enjoy a nice day or two together. Afterall, it’s all about family. It’s a time to come together and celebrate the birth of Jesus, sing some songs and be jolly! My family is usually pretty casual for the holidays but some families do it up! Some wear pajamas while others are dressed to the nines. What’s the dress code at your family christmas? I’ve included some ideas below if you fall into these categories!

  1. Pajamas: I always see cute pictures of families on social media all wearing matching pajamas. The kids, the parents and even the grandparents. Now this makes for a comfortable day! I think I will have to make this a morning tradition for my family one of these days. Even though your super casual in pajamas, don’t forget to throw on some jewelry. Stick to some stud earrings just for a little touch of sparkle. Some CZ studs would work perfectly!

2. Casual: My family has always been pretty casual. We aren’t wearing t-shirts but we’re comfortable! I always like to wear a cute sweater, jeans and boots. I’ll dress up my sweater with some cute earrings.

3. Dressy: I love getting dressed up so I usually jump at all opportunities to do it. I feel so pretty and confident when I have a dress or skirt on and heels. Nothing says the holidays like a tulle skirt and shimmering jewelry! I paired a pretty shimmering bib necklace and a beautiful mixed metal bracelet.

There’s no wrong way to do Christmas. Hope ya’ll have a very merry one and may all your spirits be bright!

Happy Styling,

Kelsey
