Are you excited for the fall? I sure am! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. The cooler weather, football, and the crisp air. It’s just the best! It’s all beginning and I couldn’t be more excited. I love summer when it rolls around but I’m definitely ready for the heat to be over with at this point. Luckily we’re already getting a few chilly evenings here in Texas.

Just because the heat stops though, doesn’t mean that life, work or your busy schedule stops with it. In honor of the changing seasons, here are 4 ways you can transition your jewelry from summer pieces to the fall style.

1. Tortoise Necklace and Jeans

Tortoise works almost year round. In the summer, I paired this particular tortoise necklace with a chambray off the shoulder dress. For the fall, I chose jeans, an ivory top, army green jacket and cognac heels. Army green is a great fall color and tortoise works really well with it!

2. Turquoise Pendant with Blazers

Turquoise is another color that can work year round. Just depends on the materials. If it’s a wood material then I would keep it to spring and summer. If it has metal tones to it then wear it whenever! This pendant I chose to highlight is a great piece that works for the summer and fall.

For the summer I paired it with a cute light pink top, jean shorts and some wedges. Pink and turquoise always work together. For a fall look, I paired it with jeans, booties and a camel boyfriend blazer.

3. Tassel Earrings & Leopard Print

Another fun summer piece was bright colored tassel earrings. Tassel earrings were a big trend this summer so why should they stop there?! Roll them into the fall by pairing them with darker colors. In the summer, I wore my tassel earrings with light colors to make them really pop. The pink looked super cute with a trendy cut out shoulder top.

For a fall look, I chose black jeans and a leopard print top. They add a fun punch of color!

4. Convert Your Summer Neutrals into Fall Styles

Not every summer piece will work in the fall but I guarantee you can make a lot of them work with the right outfit! Keeping your wardrobe fairly neutral helps a lot with this! I love to have some prints here and there with color but most of my wardrobe is pretty plain so I can accessorize. It’s hard to get out and shop all the time. Use your jewelry to accessorize and change up your look. No one will know when you repeat an outfit when you change up the jewelry!

Happy Styling,

Kelsey
